Saving Sharks with Sophi – Blog 26 – “Great Snow Hammerhead”
“Great Snow Hammerhead”
My Dad and I made a new “Snow Hammerhead” in our yard.
It is 30 feet long and his mouth is 8 feet wide and his dorsal fin is 8 feet tall !!!
I named him “Patches”.
It took us 1 week to make.
We might try to paint it too!
Now eight year old Sophi Bromenshenkel is on a crusade to save sharks and the oceans. Follow her blog with us as she finds creative ways to help save the oceans while inspiring others to do the same!! Follow all her blogs By clicking here!

Sophi, Wow, it is almost spring now, and “Patches” is melting away. I vow to shovel every last scoop of snow in our yard to keep it living. Isn’t that what “Save Sharks With Sophi” is all about…saving sharks. Your shark has lived for almost 4 months now through snowstorms, ice, melting, -20 below weather, etc. It makes me proud to keep a 30′ hammerhead alive. Wait until next year, I want to make a 60′ snowshark across our front yard. The only thing is, that you might have to walk through it to get to the house.
Your buddy always,
-Dad
next year, how about a hammerhead shark igloo, the opening be its mouth? That would be fun!
