Saving Sharks with Sophi – Blog 21 – A day with RJD
Blog 21 A Day With RJD
I got to out with the RJD team again today (Oct. 9th). I was so excited to see what we would catch. I brought some of my shark cookies with to share too. I thought they would really like them!
When we were driving out to our spot, I got to sit up with the driver and use the binoculars too. I was trying to look for some sharks in the water.
We got 4 sharks that day – 2 blacktip, 1 blacknose and a big lemon. I am trying to see how many different species that I can touch. I think that I am up to 7 so far – there are like 500 kinds.
I can’t wait to go out again, but I have to go back to MN tomorrow. My Mom said that when I get home I am going to be in the newspaper – I think that will be cool!

Great Read! I am always eager to learn as much as I can to be a better steward of our environment. We at the American Evergreen Foundation (AEF) Offer our “Conservation through Participation” programs with a never ending goal to reach out, involve and enlighten.
This is a great thing Sophi is doing for our ocean. Makes you feel that we havent forgotten about our big blue as yet. There are still some passionate people or kids out there that really want to make a difference.
That is really cool how shes helping with the cause!
