About Slasher

The Story Behind the Name: My name is Emily Cairns. I live in Saco, Maine and am 13-years-old. My uncle, Jack Haley, adopted a shark for me for Christmas. I would like to name the shark after my favorite ski trail at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine, Slasher.

Adopt-a-Shark: For information on how you can contribute to our shark conservation research by adopting and tracking your own shark, please visit our Adopt a Shark page.
