The Story Behind the Name:

Smiling, joking, welcoming hugs and wearing a onesie. That was our Becca.

Rebecca Kraft was a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, niece and friend. We lost her suddenly at the young age of 24 due to an unsuspecting blood clot. Rebecca leaves a large and loving family behind who miss her laughs dearly.

We have chosen to Adopt A Shark on Rebecca’s behalf because she was obsessed with sharks of all kinds. In fact, a few days before Becca passed she added a new stuffed shark toy to her large collection and named it “Butch Toothington the Third”, as only she would.

Becca became certified as a scuba diver at the age of 16 and had dreams of traveling the world by cruise ship, diving and exploring. She was also an extremely caring woman who always helped others in need and had a passion for animals, especially their protection.

With this donation in her name, we hope to aid in shark conservation and watch her shark freely explore the ocean…. like Becca always wanted to do.
