The Story Behind the Name:
This tiger shark was adopted by Elliot Bartmann. Annie is named after the character in the children’s book series, The Magic Treehouse. We hope Annie the tiger shark is just as curious and likes to discover things as much as Annie from the books.

Annie was carefully tagged with the latest in satellite tag technology providing us with the first opportunity to follow the long-term movements of these threatened species.
