The Story Behind the Name:
We asked our loyal fans to help us name our shark and after hundreds of submissions and three rounds of voting, Quint was the clear winner. We couldn’t imagine a more perfect fit for a shark tagged by the beer crushed by Quint himself in the movie Jaws. Cheers! Remember to always #CrushItLikeQuint!
Quint was adopted by Narragansett Beer
Satellite Tagging:
Quint was carefully tagged with the latest in satellite tag technology providing us with the first opportunity to follow the long-term movements of these threatened species. Please keep checking back frequently to follow Quint’s movements, which will be updated every few days as the satellite tag continues to send us real-time tracking data.
